(For Junior Teams Under 16 and below)
1. Club Constitution/Rules
2. Copy of Annual Accounts
3. Code of Conduct for players, coaches, parents and officials
4. Equity Policy: To show equal opportunities in the club
5. FA Child Protection Policy: One person should have attended FA Child Protection workshop and follow policy.
6. Insurance
7. Qualified Coaches: One Coach per team should have attained their Level 1.
8.) Each Club must have a Child Welfare Officer who has completed the FA's 3 hour workshop. The Club must have also processed all volunteers with unsupervised access through the FA CRB process.
Charter Standard Development Club
(For Junior Teams with at least 5 teams with a minimum of 4 age groups)
These clubs must have met the criteria for the Charter Standard Clubs and must also have:
1. At least 5 teams
2. A 3 year football development plan.
Charter Standard Community Club
(For Clubs with 10 teams, adult through to youth and including at least 1 girls' team).
These clubs must have met the criteria for the Charter Standard Clubs and must also have:
1. At least 10 teams ranging from Youth to Adult.
2. Mini Soccer Provision
3. Boys and Girls teams
4. 3-5 year football development plan
The primary aim for Community clubs is for them to become the focus point of football within the local community, and the hub of all activity.
Charter Standard Adult Club Status
(For adult clubs (age 16 years+))
1. Emergency first aid
2. Code of conduct
3. Constitution
4. Minutes of AGM meeting
5. Copy of annual Accounts
