From the Board of Manchester Football Association and staff, this award will recognise Manchester Football Associations’ commitment to Equality, embedded across all areas of Manchester FA four year strategies which began in July 2008. The area of equality is now supported and guided by an Equality Champion, Mr. Stuart Gordon.
Manchester Football Association acknowledges the diverse community that it works in and is embedding an Equality approach to developing grassroots in football. This encompasses all six areas of diversity - race, religion age, gender, sexual orientation and disability - and will ensure groups and individuals are given the same progression opportunities in either the playing or the administration of the game.
