Welfare in Football: Important Affiliation Update

Ensure that your Club Welfare Officer has attended The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop is the message from Joanna Madyarchyk, Manchester FA County Welfare Officer.

We still have around 10% of current Welfare Officers who need to attend the required training and time is running out for people to access the workshops.

Every welfare officer and club secretary has been sent a number of letters relating to this but there are still a few who have not attended a workshop!

If you are interested in a course please click here.

Please remember that if your football club has ten teams or more then there must be a minimum of two Welfare Officers nominated from your club who have a FA CRB and have attended The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop prior to affiliation.

If this is the case with your football club, please get in contact with Joanna Madyarchyk, as Manchester FA has bursaries available on a first come first serve basis.
