RESPECT Workshops
Lose Respect, Lose the Game The RESPECTProgramme has been rolled out through Grassroots Football here in Manchester since January 2009. All Leagues are eligible to become RESPECT Leagues and details on how to apply are available through the Football Association – currently 18 of 22 Leagues within the County have expressed their wish to become RESPECT Leagues.
All match officials are required to attend a Respect Workshop, which focuses on techniques involving working with the captain, spectator areas and dealing with dissent.
TWO FURTHER RESPECT COURSES HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED AS FOLLOWS:

Fitness Sessions
These are held at Salford Sports Village on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 7pm on the 3G pitch. Whilst is is run and organised by the Referee Academy, non academy members are also welcome to attend. There is no need to book - just turn up on the night and join in the action!
Promotion applications for Season 2010-11
Please note that those referees wishing to be considered for promotion during next season need to advise Phil Morris by 31 March 2010 philmorrismcfa@aol.com
A promotion seminar will be held on Sunday 1 August at Longford Sports Stadium, Chorlton. Those unable to make that date will have the opportunity to attend a seminar with another County on a different date

Summer Holiday Training Sessions for Junior Referees
During the school holidays in the summer we will be organising half day outdoor training sessions for young referees wishing to enhance their refereeing and assistant refereeing skills - watch this space for further details.
