Interested in becoming a Referee Tutor?

The North-West are ready to recruit new Referee Tutors

The Football Association has announced that as from 01 January 2010 all existing instructors will become FA Licensed Tutors. Each person will be graded according to the following competencies:

Level 1
Responsible for the delivery of the Basic Course Training for new referees

Maintaining status for CPD involves:
- Delivering a minimum of 6 hours per year
- Successful Quality Assurance Appraisal every 3 years
- Attendance at Instructor Development Training


Level 2
Responsible for the delivery of the In-Service Training for new referees

Maintaining status for CPD involves:
- Delivering a minimum of 3 hours IST training per year
- Successful Quality Assurance Appraisal every 3 years
- Attendance at Instructor Development Training


Levels 3 and 4
Invited by The Football Association – Quality Control


BECOME A LEVEL 1 TUTOR

If you have a credible refereeing background (Level 6 or above) and you have a desire to contribute to the training of referees you can apply to become a Level 1 Tutor. Courses are normally held annually - should you wish to be considered for the next course please contact RDO Peter Roberts

The course fee is £50.
