The FA have now officially launched the RESPECT initiative, but what does that mean?
The initiative is designed to improve behaviours within the game and it is important to recognise that this is a 'Whole Game' approach.
All affiliated leagues have been contacted in writing with a letter from Brian Barwick asking for leagues to consider applying to role out the initiative to member clubs of their respective leagues.
To ensure communication of this initiative is effective at a local level, Manchester FA has written to all our leagues to offer them the opportunity for us to present to their League Management Committee with details of the evolving programme.
Manchester FA have appointed a lead officer to deal with any questions that you may have - Fiona Callaghan will be the lead officer for Manchester FA.
In addition, our Referee Development Officer, Peter Roberts will be assisting Referees in any questions that they may have in relation to the RESPECT initiative.
