Manchester FA are delighted to announce a development partnership with Greater Manchester Veterans Football League to enhance the opportunities within vets football.

As Development Manager for Manchester FA, I am delighted to offer you the opportunity to affiliate and enter a team within the ‘New’ GM Vets structure for 2009/10 season.

A club team application form and player registration forms can be downloaded opposite. However, application packs are now available upon request from Manchester County FA.

The structure will cater for all clubs, leagues, local authorities or businesses that may wish to enter a team for the new season.

The league will be unique, why?

• It is proposed to have two leagues of two divisions
o A Friday night division
o A Sunday afternoon division
• The GM Vets league will now cater for those Vets teams who wish to play weekly.
• The GM Vets league will now cater for teams that may wish to participate on a Monthly basis.
• Friday Night Division – will be played central venue on 3g Floodlit.
• Central Player Registrations

Due to the anticipated demand for places in each of the league divisions, we will initially take the first 16 as guaranteed applications. All team applications, together with cheques payable to Greater Manchester Veterans FL must be received no later than Friday 24th July 2009.

Applications are to be returned to myself Colin Bridgford, County Development Manager, Manchester FA, Salford Sports Village, Littleton Road, Salford, M7 3NQ.

If you require any further information or have any questions do not hesitate to contact myself or my colleague Fiona Callaghan here at Manchester FA.
