First of All on Behalf of All at Manchester FA I would like to wish you the very best of wishes for Christmas and the New Year. However, in addition to our best wishes I thought it would be appropriate to announce the outcomes of our recent restructure and operational review.
As a Business we are striving to change the culture here at Manchester FA. The review was crucial in order to progress and offer the highest standard of customer service during 2010. Leading the Way! - Operational Changes
As part of the restructure, operational changes to support our key partners and grassroots football in general have been high on the agenda.
Customer Support Changes
It is imperative that Manchester FA have customer service at the forefront of all what we do. We have made two important changes as part of the new structure:
1.) New Telephone System
2.) New Business Hours
New Telephone Configuration
The phone number remains the same, but I am confident the changes to the configuration will help you. Upon contacting Manchester FA you now have two options:
Option 1 – Press 1 for Football Development
Option 2 – Press 2 for Business Administration
The system now has the option for you to leave a message 24 hours, 7 days a week for either one of teams who will call you back as soon as possible.
New Business Hours
All at Manchester FA recognise that our customers require a service that is beyond our current opening hours. Our customers are players, coaches, volunteers, clubs and leagues. 95% of the customers are invaluable, unpaid volunteers, who not surprisingly, work the same hours that we operate.
I am delighted to announce that as from January 2010 our business opening hours will broaden.
Therefore, our business hours for 2010 will be as follows. Monday, 8.30am to 5pm
Tuesday, 8.30am to 7pm
Wednesday, 8.30am to 5pm
Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm
Friday, 8.30am to 4pm
Members of both our Football Development and Business Administration Units will provide business support between the hours of 4pm and 7pm on a Tuesday. The office will be open for personal callers and phone enquiries. It must be noted that this will be maintained on a staff rotational basis with limited cover of approximately 2 to 4 staff in attendance, which will include a member of our Management staff.
I do hope you will see the above as another step in the right direction to supporting you.
Please feel free to communicate the above changes to all at your club and or league members.
Once again, best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
Kind regards,
Colin
