Grassroots Clubs

Setting up or running a football club, can only happen through the dedication and hard work of the many individuals who volunteer their time to support the club.

This part of the website is dedicated to providing those who help run grassroots football Clubs in Manchester with information and support that will assist them in developing their club.

Clubs in Manchester

Football clubs exist through every level of the football pyramid in Greater Manchester.

From mini-soccer clubs that provide a platform that supports the development and enjoyment of our very youngest players, to the adult game which spans across small-sided football, amateur, semi-pro and of course the professional game.

There are currently over 450 member clubs that facilitate over 2000 teams which make up the membership of Manchester County FA - each of whom are involved in regular league football. In addition, there are also hundreds of other teams registered at several FA affiliated small-sided football centres across the city.
