Representative Team 2016/17

The Representative Team will compete in The FA County Youth Cup for the upcoming season, which is a nationwide competition and consists of County FA's in England.

The team is administered and organised by the General Manager, Richard Cooper. Team Manager, James Kinsey is supported by his back-room staff of Gavin Atherton (First Team Coach), Nathan Orrell (Coach), Adam Rigby (GK Coach) and Callum Turley (Physio).

    What level of commitment is required?

    MCFA will only take part in The FA County Youth Cup and all members of the squad will remain involved with the squad whilst the team remain in the competition.

    In addition to fixtures, which can be found HERE, the team will train on a day to be confirmed the week prior to any fixture. We will also host a small number of friendlies in preparation for the competition.

    When is The FA County Youth Cup played?

    The fixtures for this competition are played on Saturday afternoons. There is a maximum of six possible round dates and are agreed by both County FA's. They must be completed before...

    • Third Round: Saturday 10th December 2016
    • Fourth Round: Saturday 21st January 2017
    • Semi-Final: Saturday 25th February 2017
    • Final: Saturday 8th April 2017 (Provisionally)
