Within Manchester FA we conduct 10 Clublinks per season, these are chosen by the Football Development Team on merit depending on the current clubs status, potential status, growth and numbers within our County Football Plan. The clublink scheme offers a small pot of funding for the club picked by the County FA to spend on the development of at least one new team which will be affiliated to the club in question for the next season. The club must document this within the 6 months of the clublink scheme to start to benefit from this funding, equipment and 2 FA qualifications for 2 members of your club.
The club can promote the link how they like, be this by linking in with a local primary school, Secondary School, Community Project, College or University – depending on what NEW provision you decide to proceed with. This is a great FA initiative to get your club into your local community and getting new players and volunteers into football to develop your club for the future.
