Co-ordinated by The FA and funded by Tesco and Sport England, the Skills Programme employs 4 specialist FA coaches to develop the football skills of children in Manchester. Since 2007, over 70,000 children have benefitted from the programme with the national programme providing more than two million places on football skills courses, and by 2014 the FA aim to provide another 2.7 million places.
Manchester FA and the FA Tesco Skills Team are committed to helping boys and girls in Manchester live a more active lifestyle and to be the best football players they can. We also want them to have fun, grow in confidence and learn teamwork and responsibility. Your children can take part in The FA Tesco Skills Programme through their primary school or by signing up to take part in our regular After Schools Sessions and Holiday Sessions.
