The FA’s Respect programme provides tools for leagues from grassroots to elite football – to help ensure a safe, positive environment in which to play the game. In Manchester, our leagues are signed up to the FA Respect programme and all FA Charter Standard Clubs endorse the programme, with many embedding a specific Respect Co-ordinator within their club or league. Manchester FA strives to give leagues as much resource and information to help implement the FA Respect programme within their league environment.
The following resources are available to utilise in your leagues:
The ‘Use Your Head’ seeks to help leagues combat the issues surrounding bad language in small stadia. Leagues visiting this site will be able to download flyers, posters, signage and personalise them with their own league logos. Click HERE
The FA Respect Barriers scheme assists leagues to get appropriate barriers for implementation of the Respect programme at league venues. Click HERE
Respect resources are available for leagues to download and utilise. Click HERE
The Respect Toolkit is available to download, which will help you promote respect and fair play in your league. Click HERE
FA Respect Awards – Manchester FA Leagues
Calling all leagues!
The FA has launched a rewards scheme to recognise the great, selfless work done by volunteer administrators, helping us unite against the ugly side of our game. This scheme recognises the ongoing commitment of leagues to the Respect programme, and The FA would like to thank those individuals that have made a difference and if a league has really committed itself to the highest standards of Respect and Fair Play then they may be in line for some ‘money can’t buy’ prizes. Find out how you can nominate your league for recognition and some amazing rewards HERE
