Disability Development Centre opens

Manchester FA is delighted to announce the renewed license to deliver the Disability Player Development Centre for boys (12-16 years) in the season 2012/13 at Cedar Mount High School in Gorton, Manchester.

This programme is the second tier in the disability talent pathway where players will receive additional coaching and mentoring by the programme coaches and regional impairment specific centres.

The Disability Player Development Centre is for Boys that are deemed as talented/higher ability and must be able to qualify for one of The FA impairment specific squads listed below:

 

  • Amputee
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Hearing Impaired/Deaf
  • Learning Disability (holds an SEN statement)
  • Visually Impaired

 

Trial Information

 

  • Boys must be aged between 12 – 16 years
  • Trial Dates - Wednesday 26th September and 4th October
  • Times: 18:00 – 19:30
  • Venue – Cedar Mount High School, Wembley Road, Gorton, Manchester, M18 6DT
  • Trials will take place on 3G surface

Trials are open, however to reserve your place the players attending must use the online booking form and register a FAN Number on http://eventspace.thefa.com/manchesterfa/participant/arrangement.aspx?id=53368#regform

 

Any selected players will need to commit to weekly sessions on Wednesdays at the same time and venue, starting from 10th October and pay a signing on fee of £40.
