Manchester FA is pleased to announce that Manchester Maccabi have been successfully awarded with FA Charter Standard Club status.
The club who run their own club facility, offers football for all ages, with three adult teams and a Veterans team, and fifteen youth teams including a new girls team.
The FA Charter Standard programme is a kitemark, which recognises and rewards high quality levels of provision in club and league football. The kitemark is awarded to clubs and leagues that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.
Manchester FA praised the club for their hard work in getting the status. Shirley Veevers, Senior Football Development Officer, stated “Manchester Maccabi are a big club and provide fantastic opportunities for the local community in grassroots football. This award for the club recognises the high standard that the club is run to, I am delighted on their achievement and look forward to working with the club volunteers to develop the club further in the near future!”
