Following the recent Manchester FA County award for the 2012 FA Community Awards, all award winners went forward to a FA Regional panel to be considered.
The regional winners have just been announced and Manchester FA are pleased to announce that Moorside Rangers FC have been named as the regional North West ‘FA Charter Standard Community Club of the Year’.
Shirley Veevers, Senior Football Development Officer commented on the award, “This is a great achievement for the club and fantastic recognition for the work they are doing, their commitment to all areas of the local community and the development of grassroots football. The club will now go forward to be considered for a FA National Club award.”
All other categories were closely contested and some only narrowly missing out on regional recognition, so well done on your awards and a huge thank you on behalf of Manchester FA for all the time, hard work, and commitment you all put into grassroots football in Manchester.
