BMF: Charity Walking Football Festival

The FA and the Bobby Moore Fund will be hosting a Walking Football festival in Manchester on Saturday 8 July.

The festival is in aid of The FA’s Official Charity Partner, the Bobby Moore Fund, which supports Cancer Research's fight against Bowel Cancer, and is open to everyone regardless of ability or background.

Since the Bobby Moore fund was set up in 1993 mortality rates have fallen 30% and over £23.5 million has been raised for research, but we still have so much more to do!

The FA continues to lead the way with Walking Football, as the official Laws of the Game have now been launched and these will be enforced at the festival.

Where: Goals Manchester
Date: Saturday 8 July
Time: Starts 11am
Players: Maximum of ten
Numbers: 6-a-side Tournament
Cost: £5 per player

As the FA has kindly agreed to cover all festival costs, 100% of your entry fee will go directly to the Bobby Moore Fund to fund life-saving bowel cancer research.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive more information about the day itself including a Bobby Moore Fund fundraising pack; and we encourage everyone in your local community to get involved as there will be further fundraising on the day.

We expect places to fill quickly so please register your team ASAP to avoid disappointment. To register please contact Sarah Venning on 0161 225 1966 and/or email
