Chuks Africa Kit

Have you got any unwanted football kit?

FA Tutor, Chuks is urging the grassroots community to help those less fortunate in Lagos, Nigeria.

With clubs purchasing new kits and players buying new boots, shin-pads or goalkeeper gloves, old kit and equipment is either thrown-out or left to collect dust. However, these items can still be put to good use!

While getting new kit or equipment may seem like a regular thing for a lot of us, there are people in other countries where getting kit and equipment is a rare occurrence.

The man at the heart of the initiative is ‘Chuks’ Akuneto, a Manchester FA Tutor and Coach Mentor. Chuks said; "A little contribution goes a long way and makes a big difference to someone in Africa."

Recently Curzon Ashton, Droylsden JFC and St. John's, Chorlton have donated unwanted kit to children in Africa and it would be great to see more clubs and players doing the same.
