Salford City manager Graham Alexander is looking forward to his side’s fixture on Non-League Day.

The Ammies, who are currently top of the Vanarama National League, host Braintree Town at The Peninsula Stadium on Saturday afternoon, aiming to make it 13 games unbeaten.

“We have followed on the momentum that we have been on in the league programme, we want to keep that good feeling throughout the squad and throughout the club,” Alexander said.

“Saturday is the next opportunity to do that, so we’re looking forward to the game.

“Obviously it is three points that are available, and we are going to have to play well to get them.”
