Geraldine Ryan appointed to the Board of Directors at Manchester FA

The Board of Directors of Manchester FA are delighted to have appointed Geraldine Ryan as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect. 

Geraldine is head of the Commercial Litigation and Dispute resolution team and Manchester office at Hill Dickinson LLP, which has grown significantly over recent years.

Having over 20 years' experience of handling high-profile, high-value and complex litigation, Geraldine has had notable successes in the Court of Appeal. She regularly acts against top London firms on a wide range of matters covering contractual issues in the sports and aviation sectors and injunctive relief in alleged fraud actions, and has handled arbitrations including disputes on behalf of Peel Holdings, one of her major clients.

Geraldine specialises in commercial dispute resolution, breach of contract and professional negligence claims. She is also recognised for defamation and phone hacking claims. In terms of sector focus, she has carried out a considerable amount of work in the sports sector.
