Following a fantastic response from the grassroots football community in Manchester, we are pleased to share the category shortlists for the 2019 Manchester FA Grassroots Awards.

The awards are our chance to celebrate the work that goes into the grassroots game here in Manchester and say a big thank you to the incredible volunteers who inspire us to make football better, For All.

All those shortlisted will be entered into the local and national Grassroots Awards, with national winners showcased as part of the Community Shield on the 4th August. 

Ahead of the national awards, the Manchester FA Grassroots Awards ceremony will take place on the 12th July at the Midland Hotel, where we will be celebrating the people, clubs and leagues who make a positive difference across our communities.

We are delighted to announce that we have FROZEN ticket prices for the awards at £35 pp and tickets for the ceremony are now on sale, on a first come first served basis. To register for tickets, please follow this link.

The shortlists for each of the 14 open categories have been selected by a local, independent panel and can be viewed here. 

Those nominated for Long Service Awards of 10, 15, 25 or 50 years in the grassroots football community will be contacted directly by Manchester FA staff.
