During the month of October, we will be spotlighting our Manchester FA member clubs and leagues, the heart of grassroots football here in Greater Manchester.

Throughout October, we will showcase the hard work and commitment that our clubs and leagues put in to facilitate football across Greater Manchester. We will also take a look back at the 2018/19 season and celebrate some great achievements from our clubs and leagues.

Manchester FA’s clubs and leagues cover male, female, disability football and Futsal and offer a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all to participate in. This consists of 30 leagues, 409 clubs of which 179 are FA Charter Standard clubs

Football Development Officer (Clubs and Leagues), Olivia Laiker, explains: ‘’Clubs and Leagues are at the heart of grassroots football here in Greater Manchester and it is an honour to be able to work alongside dedicated volunteers, that help to make grassroots football great. We have some excellent clubs and leagues which we will showcase throughout the coming months and we will be highlighting all the support that is on offer. Its exciting to see the growth and evolution of grassroots football, with alternative offers such as small sided football becoming ever more popular.’’
