THE NEW NATIONAL FUTSAL SERIES IS COMING TO MANCHESTER
The inaugural National Futsal Series (NFS) is set to commence for the 2019/20 season and on the 6th October, the series will make its visit to Manchester, at the National Cycling Centre, home of Manchester Futsal Club. This is the start of an exciting new chapter for Futsal in England and Manchester.
The NFS will operate at tiers one and two of the Futsal competition pathway and comprises of 25 teams playing across three divisions; a national tier 1, underpinned by two regional tier 2 competitions. The league will be played as a central venue model with all teams hosting two fixture rounds, giving them the opportunity to welcome teams and spectators from across the region. Manchester Futsal Club will play in national tier 1 for their first season in the NFS and the National Cycling Centre, across from the Etihad Stadium, will be the central venue for Manchester on 6th October.
