Phelan made over 100 appearances for United as a player, and has since been Assistant Manager to both Sir Alex Ferguson and now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Alongside his role at Old Trafford, Phelan is also Director and Chairman of coaching and training equipment supplier, Sensible Soccer.

His career in football has taken him across the world, and Phelan has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the Manchester FA community.
