The UEFA Women’s Euro’s 2022 is coming to Manchester and Trafford and provides us with the unique opportunity to inspire the next generation of female footballers. We want to grow and develop future leaders of the female game to ensure that women and girls in Greater Manchester have role models they can relate to and aspire to be. 

The UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 Role Models campaign will highlight female role models within both grassroots and elite football here in Greater Manchester. One individual will be telling their story every month in the run up and during the tournament next year, highlighting a number of different roles and opportunities within the game.

We kick off the campaign with Lauren Davis, Manchester United Foundation and Regional Talent Centre coach who started off her journey in football as a player and started coaching when she was 17. Learn all about Lauren’s coaching journey and how she thinks being a host city at the Women’s Euro’s 2022 will impact the women and girls game in Greater Manchester.
