Could YOU be the next England star player? In Manchester we provide a clear pathway for elite female players to reach their potential and take the opportunity to achieve success at the highest level.

The FA Centre of Excellence for girls is an enhanced coaching centre for U9, U11, U13, U15, & U17 age groups. Players gain access to the centre through a trial process organised and delivered by the local organisations such as Manchester FA, educational establishments, and football clubs. Players will be accepted into a Centre of Excellence when it is appropriate for the player’s development. 

Manchester FA and Manchester United Foundation are working in partnership to deliver the FA Girls Centre of Excellence for Greater Manchester. This provides excellent training and support at the fantastic training facility at the Cliff in Salford. Every player will receive four hours per week training and a weekly regional fixture programme, with home fixtures being played at Manchester United Training complex on Ayrshire Road, Salford. Players will not be allowed to play for both a Centre of Excellence and a grassroots club.
