Mark Bradshaw’s Curzon Ashton take on Mossley AFC in the Frank Hannah Manchester Premier Cup at Hyde United on Monday, 15th April, KO 7.45pm.
Curzon’s journey to the final included a 2-0 win over National League side Salford City, and an emphatic 8-0 victory over Chadderton in the semi-finals.
Their opponents, Mossley, snatched at their lifeline to stay in the competition after FC United were expelled for fielding an ineligible player in the 2-0 quarter final victory over the Lilywhites.
Dave Wild and Terry Hincks’ side took full advantage of the unexpected semi-final draw, after edging past Radcliffe 3-2 to have a shot at the trophy.
Mossley will be hoping to replicate their 2016 cup final success which saw them victorious over Stalybridge Celtic, while Curzon will be looking to break their staggering 29-year duck of the trophy.
