Manchester FA are excited to announce that on Friday 31st May 2024, the Manchester FA End of Season Referee Awards Celebration will take place, to celebrate the successes of Manchester FA Referees, Volunteers, and the Grassroots Refereeing Community throughout the 2023/24 season - full details can be found below.

Tickets are individually priced at £50, which includes an arrival drink, 3 course meal and DJ. Manchester FA End of Season Referee Awards Celebration – Award Nominations

Throughout the evening, we will be presenting awards to a variety of individuals and recognising those who have gone above and beyond throughout the 2023/24 season to help Manchester FA Referees. Please see below for the award categories and how to nominate your winner.

Manchester FA Female Referee of the Year

The winner of this award will be presented to the Manchester FA Female Referee who has best demonstrated the Manchester FA core values, displayed a positive attitude towards refereeing during the 2023/24 season and inspires other Females to either start or continue refereeing.

Manchester FA Grassroots Referee of the Year (National Award)

The winner of this award will be presented to an individual who has shown a dedication and commitment to refereeing across Greater Manchester, demonstrating the Manchester FA core values and ensuring refereeing and football is for everyone to enjoy.

Manchester FA Rising Star

The winner of this award will be presented to a Manchester FA Referee aged between 14 – 25 who has best demonstrated the Manchester FA core values and champions what it is to be a young referee within Greater Manchester.

Manchester FA Spirit of Refereeing

The winner of this award will be presented to an individual who truly encompasses what it is to be a Manchester FA Referee and acts as a positive role model to everyone.

Manchester FA Referee Volunteer of the Year

The winner of this award will be presented to any member of the Manchester FA Grassroots Community, i.e., Mentor, Matchday Coach, Observer, League Referee Appointments Officer, League Referee Mentor, or any other role within the Grassroots Refereeing Community, who upholds the core values of Manchester FA and demonstrates a true passion towards refereeing for the betterment and development of Manchester FA Referees.
