Manchester FA is delighted to announce the appointment of John Hand as an Indepedent Non Executive Director, with a focus on Leagl and Compliance. 

John joins having worked for a number of high profile organisations such as Mercedes F1 & Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and has already demonstrated his strong committment and passion for spot at all levels. Bringing with him a vast amount of technical knowledge as a Sports Lawyer and experience, John will be responsible for championing legal and compliance for Manchester FA at a Board level. 

Following his appointment, John Said "It's been obvious from my first conversations with Manchester FA that this is an organisation with the highest standards of governance and compliance. I'm proud to be joining a hugely impressive team, from the volunteers through to the Board, and everyone is incredibly committed to both the local community and grassroots football.
