Greater Manchester Women’s Football League provides the pathway into women’s football, by offering a two division county league structure which enables teams progressing from junior football to play within division two, and more established women's teams to compete within division one. The league is also the entry point for new teams and is the first step within the women’s football pyramid. The league is played on Sunday afternoon’s and runs additional cup competition’s to enable teams to play as many games as possible throughout the season.
