REMINDER TO ALL CLUBS

Standard Code of Rules for Mini Soccer & Youth Competitions states:

18(C) A child who has not attained the age of 6 shall not play, and shall not be permitted or encouraged to play, in any match of any kind. 

Competitions and tournaments have been reported to Manchester FA for offering football provision at U6 age groups and below.

Any such report will be fully investigated and in cases where the competition or tournament involves an affiliated grassroots club, disciplinary action may be taken. 

Manchester FA actively encourages and promotes all approved formats of football but stresses the importance of only entering teams into approved sanctioned events.

Should a team enter an unaffiliated event they will find that their club insurance policies will not cover any incident which takes place during the said event. 

Manchester cannot guarantee unsanctioned tournaments or events having the relevant safeguarding checks and measures in place and reserves the right to refuse sanction on any event which does not meet our Safeguarding Operating Standards.
