Janette White and Conor Brown

Welcome, Janette & Conor!

Janette White and Conor Brown join Manchester FA in new roles.

This week Manchester FA welcomed two more staff members to its team following the advertisement of new safeguarding vacancies in March. Safeguarding is at the heart of what we do and this is why it's important that we further invest in our workforce to support grassroots football in this area.

Janette White becomes our Safeguarding Support Administrator, who is also one of the founders of Manchester Lions and has been involved in Manchester grassroots football for over eight years. Her current voluntary role is Secretary of the Manchester Junior Sunday Football League. At Manchester FA she will work with the Designated Safeguarding Officer (Lauren McCorry) in safeguarding compliance and administration.

Conor Brown joins us as the Referee Duty of Care and Appointments Officer. A qualified PE teacher and Level 3 Referee, Conor is a passionate supporter of Rochdale AFC. His role at Manchester FA will be focused on working closely with the Referee Development Officer (Tom Elliott) to support over 200 Match Officials in Greater Manchester who are under the age of 18, as well as overseeing all fixture appointments.

Both are welcomed additions and have settled in well at the new offices at the Manchester Tennis & Football Centre. To contact Janette and Conor or any member of the Manchester FA team, you can do so by clicking here.
