Strategic Football Development Officer

A new opportunity has opened at Manchester FA in partnership with Manchester City Council

Manchester FA and Manchester City Council is looking is looking to recruit a dynamic and inspiring Strategic Football Development Officer to join our team. We are looking for an individual who stands out from others, brings passion and enthusiasm to the team, provides a new way of thinking and will work collaboratively with others, both internally and externally from the organisations. This role is to work specifically with our member clubs and leagues in Manchester, with the focus of ensuring the Clubs and Leagues are supported and developed to encourage the retention of players, coaches and volunteers and to support with all facility development within Manchester City Council. 

The Strategic Football Development Officer will report into the Football Participation Manager and Manchester FA, and work closely with the Principal Sport Strategy Manager from the Sport and Leisure department at Manchester City Council. Working closely with the Football Development Officers, the successful candidate will be delivering The FA’s National Game Strategy here within Greater Manchester.
