Manchester FA Community Day returns
Manchester FA’s Community Day is back this summer on the 3rd August 2019 at Droylsden Youth Centre (M43 6NR) and will be completely FREE of charge to enter for all Manchester FA Charter Standard Clubs.
This year, the day will be themed around the FA’s ‘We Only Do Positive’; in line with the amazing work Manchester FA Charter Standard clubs and leagues are doing as part of the wider RESPECT campaign.
The day will be split in to two main parts and encourages parents and carers to come along with their children and get involved too, with activities running for the whole family, throughout the day.
In the morning, Women’s and Girls’ football will be the main focus with Wildcats (U8 & U11) and Mum’s football session taking place in the morning. Then, in the afternoon, we will switch the focus on to the male game with an U7 Boys’ session, whilst the Dads can get involved with walking football.
There will also be a range of activities outside of football for the whole family, including;
- Bouncy castle
- Ice cream van
- BBQ
- Beat the goalie competition
Please note, Manchester FA’s Community Day will follow team age groups for the 19/20 season. All junior teams must be supervised by at least one coach who has an in date CRC, FA Emergency First Aid, FA Safeguarding and minimum Level 1 coaching qualification.
Registration for the day is open to all FA Charter Standard clubs, on a first come first served basis. To sign a team up to the U8s and U11s Girls’ or the U7s Boys tournament, please click here. Please also register for the Walking Football and Mum's football session via this link.
