Peter Kay steps down from Manchester FA Board

Following three years’ service, Independent Non-Executive Director Peter Kay has stepped down as a member of the Manchester FA Board of Directors

Following three years’ service, Independent Non-Executive Director Peter Kay has stepped down as a member of the Manchester FA Board of Directors. 

This decision has been accepted by the Chair and members of the Board, and Manchester FA would like to place on record our thanks to Peter for his dedication to the role and services to grassroots football. 

Peter commented, “It's been a real pleasure working alongside my fellow board members and also the staff at Manchester FA whose energy and commitment to the game in Greater Manchester has been consistently impressive. I'd like to wish everyone involved the very best for what promises to be an exciting time for the grassroots game in Manchester over the coming years.”

Chair of the Board, John McLellan-Grant added: “On behalf of the board and staff team at Manchester FA, we would like to express our appreciation to Peter for the support he has given to the County FA over the past 3 years.  Peter’s contribution to the board and to grassroots football in Manchester is valued by all.  Peter has brought a valuable insight and experience over his three years with us and we wish him well for the future.”
