UEFA Women's EURO 2021 comes to Manchester

Four games to be held across the city, including opening game at Old Trafford

Manchester will play host to four UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 games, including the opening game of the tournament, taking place at Old Trafford.

With 500 days to go until the big kick off, the opening game of the tournament has been confirmed to take place at Old Trafford.

England will contest the opening fixture, meaning that the Manchester crowd could break the attendance record for a UEFA Women’s EURO game in its opening fixture.

Manchester City’s Academy Stadium is also poised to host three group stage matches, on Sunday 11th, Thursday 15th and Monday 19th July 2021.

Now in its 13th edition, the UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 is poised to be the biggest women’s EURO to date, with over 700,000 tickets available to fans and extensive coverage of every game of the tournament available on free-to-air television, radio and online.

Fans will be able to see some of the world’s best players in action on home soil as 31 matches are played across 26 days of competition, with the final on 1st August set to be played at Wembley Stadium.
