We stand together with Greater Manchester against Hate Crime

Today marks the start of Hate Crime Awareness Week and we stand together against hate across Greater Manchester.

The week provides an opportunity for everyone across Greater Manchester to stand together and to celebrate our diversity.

A number of sessions are taking place courtesy of Salford City Council from 1 to 5 Feb. Events include a GM Online launch event by GMCA, a Hate Crime Briefing (suitable for all) Delivered by Salford City Council & GMP VS Coordinator, a session called 'Online Hate Crime – what harm can it do?' Suitable for professionals involved with safeguarding vulnerable people, and a Crown Prosecution Service workshop and a GMP session called 'Hate Crime Reporting Centre' which is training for those who are or wish to become a reporting centre.
