Aimee Cook leaves Manchester FA
A HUGE Thank you from everyone here at Manchester FA to Aimee Cook, who leaves Manchester FA after two fantastic years as our Football Services Officer for Competitions for her next challenge working for Manchester City FC.
We caught up with Aimee on her last day and asked her the following;
Why are you leaving Manchester FA / what is the plan / where to next?
I leave Manchester FA on Friday 3rd May to take up a role with Manchester City FC working within their academy.
What is something that you are particularly proud of during your time at Manchester FA?
There is simply so much! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Manchester FA but some of the real standout moments for me would have to be, delivering the first ever Women's Super Cup Final, which was played at Manchester City's Academy Stadium. Delivering both the Frank Hannah Manchester FA Premier Cup Final, and the Women's Challenge Cup Final at Oldham Athletic and Rochdale AFC respectively and of course all the amazing work with our Young Leaders Academy, who have continued to inspire me throughout this journey.
Anything you would like to say in quote to the grassroots community on your departure?
Thank you! Over the last two years I have loved being able to support you all, whilst also continuing to deliver our county cup programmes which I believe are some of the best in the country. Keep doing what you are doing and I know that over the coming year's football will continue to flourish across Greater Manchester!
