This year's FA Girls' Football Week (GFW) will run between Monday 6th November to Sunday 12 November, and we’re encouraging the people in Greater Manchester to get involved and help deliver sessions so that girls can enjoy the beautiful game.

With a newly launched Women and Girls' Strategy, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved, and will help us and The FA with our aim of doubling the number of women and girls playing football by 2020.

We're looking for clubs, leagues, community groups, schools, colleges, universities and more, to get involved during this year's Girls Football Week and register your sessions online at www.FAGirlsFootballWeek.com 

Organisations can register their on-going activities as part of the week, or maybe even start something brand new to kick-start girls' football.

The last 'GFW' coincided with the Lionesses' Euro campaign in the Netherlands and a was huge success in raising the awareness of this worthwhile cause.
